Jesus Christ

The way, the truth, and the life

Mosaic portrait of Jesus Christ
Our Lord Jesus ChristThe beginning and the end

Jesus Christ stands at the heart of the Diocese and every Christian community. In him, the Church receives her life, proclaims the Gospel, celebrates the sacraments, and serves every person with love.

As disciples, we are called to remain in Christ, listen to his Word, encounter him in prayer and the Eucharist, and make his mercy present throughout our lives.

The Diocese of Cubao lives its mission in communion with the Holy Father and the bishops throughout the world. We pray for Pope Leo XIV as he confirms the faithful, proclaims the Gospel, and calls the Church to unity, peace, and service.

Bishop Elias Ayuban is the second Bishop of Cubao. A Claretian missionary and canon lawyer, he began his episcopal ministry in Cubao in 2024, succeeding the diocese’s founding bishop, Most Rev. Honesto F. Ongtioco.

His ministry calls the local Church to become a listening, missionary, and compassionate community: the Santatlo of clergy, religious, and laity serving as one.
